A revolutionary wave energy converter, a new exploration tool for mining and a novel cancer treatment are among the finalists of the 2013 WA Innovator of the Year Awards.
Commerce Minister Michael Mischin said the awards acknowledged the achievements of the State’s leading innovative enterprises and encouraged local innovation.
Mr Mischin said they were an indicator of Western Australia’s competitiveness and capacity leading to future economic prosperity.
“The calibre of applications demonstrates there is no shortage of world-class innovation in WA,” he said.
